The Santiago Canyon College men's volleyball team sought revenge against the San Diego Miramar College Jets on Friday night after falling to them in straight sets earlier this season. Despite dropping the opening set, the Hawks rallied to win three straight sets behind a strong offensive performance and dominant net play, securing a 3–1 victory.
The offense was led by freshman Jack Frame, who hammered home 21 kills while hitting an impressive .444 and totaling 28 points. He also recorded a career-high six service aces and added a solo block at the net.
Freshman Brayden Payne followed with 11 kills and two solo blocks, while freshman Logan Campbell contributed five kills along with a pair of blocks.
The offense was orchestrated by freshman setters Kody Cornish and David Martinez. Cornish finished with a team-high 22 assists and two digs, while Martinez added 20 assists and four digs.
Freshman Aaron Buckley provided the highlight of the night, rising up for a match-clinching solo block. He also chipped in three kills.
