Hawks Bounce Back

The Hawks got back on track with a comfortable 3-1 win against sister school Santa Ana College. SCC finally got on the board with Ceci Roghair, having created multiple earlier openings, but being unable to deliver the final ball. Shortly afterwards, Tara Hansel swept the ball home after good work from Ashley Dart and Chloe Helenihi, and the Hawks took a 2-0 lead in to the break.

Ashley Roskelly scored her second goal of the week, rising to head home a Kendra Koerth serve on the hour mark. Santa Ana pulled a goal back late on, but Ariana Radilla and her back-line held strong to close out the game. 

Next up for the Hawks is an away contest at Golden West College on Tuesday, October 29th. Kick-off is at 3pm. Thanks go out to all those in attendance today.  ​
